The sitting area which takes place at the entrance of the room is the place which cooking local bread in.The oven which is in the middle is the place where cooking the local bread in.Also this area has been used as sitting place in summer hot times. Kışevi room has for 700 years history, when it was used as home which is sculptured completely into rock, there were an oven in the middle and a smoke chimney on the oven which is now used as light. It’s been used as sitting room or living room because it has been sculptured into very thick rock blocks. The hollow on the left of the entrance, which is composed of two parts, has been used for making wine in Byzantine period and it has used for making grape molasses in Turkish period. The fitted with glass department next to this area has been used as wheat store. The department on the right of the entrance , which the sofa takes place in, where the bread preserved in for 5 months. At the same time they’ve preserved the dry foods in the jars in here. The part which is bathroom now, was the place they put cheese, grape molasses and some other foods.
